Zwicker Announces Early Endorsement by Sierra Club
Key Environmental Group Endorses Senator Zwicker in Critical Re-election Campaign
South Brunswick, NJ – Today, the New Jersey chapter of the Sierra Club announced its endorsement of Senator Andrew Zwicker, a leading champion of environmental legislation in the State Senate.
Zwicker is a key advocate for environmental groups across the state and has been consistently endorsed by major environmental advocacy groups during his past election campaigns for State Assembly and State Senate.
Richard Isaac, Chair of the New Jersey Sierra Club said: “As a legislator who not only understands the importance of science-based environmental policies but is a leading physicist serving as Head of Strategic Partnerships and Public Engagement at Princeton University’s Plasma Physics Laboratory, Sierra Club recognizes the importance of keeping Sen. Zwicker represents the 16th Legislative District, which includes parts of Middlesex, Mercer, Somerset and Hunterdon Counties. Including the municipalities of Princeton, South Brunswick, Rocky Hill, Montgomery, Millstone, Hillsborough, Branchburg, Raritan Township, Readington Township, Flemington, High Bridge, Lebanon Borough, Clinton Town, and Clinton Township.
