Zwicker, Freiman and Drulis Endorsed by New Jersey State AFL-CIO
Hillsborough, NJ – This morning, the New Jersey State AFL-CIO announced its 2023 General Election endorsement of Senator Andrew Zwicker, Assemblyman Roy Freiman, and Assembly Candidate Mitchelle Drulis in New Jersey’s 16th Legislative District.
“I am grateful for the support of the New Jersey AFL-CIO in my bid for re-election,” said Senator Andrew Zwicker. “Whether on the Senate floor or on the picket line, I stand with our union members as they fight for fair wages and benefits and safe workplaces. I also want to congratulate the union members running for office themselves, whose candidacy and perspective have resulted in landmark pro-worker legislation here in New Jersey.”
“The endorsement of the AFL-CIO is an honor, as someone committed to bettering the lives of New Jersey workers,” said Assemblyman Roy Freiman. “The members of the AFL-CIO do critical work to support working families, whether through negotiating fair contracts or by creating high quality job opportunities. Their work deserves strong allyship in Trenton, which is exactly what I’ll continue to bring to my public service.”
“I have spent my career fighting for fairness for working families across New Jersey both at the federal and state level, and I am honored to have the endorsement of the New Jersey State AFL-CIO,” said Assembly Candidate Mitchelle Drulis. “We share the same belief: to work tirelessly to improve the lives of working people. I look forward to being their fierce advocate on this campaign, and in the Assembly.”
