Zwicker and Freiman Win Princeton Community Democratic Organization Endorsement in LD16
Incumbents announce endorsement from Princeton Democrats for re-election
Princeton, NJ – Senator Andrew Zwicker and Assemblyman Roy Freiman received the unanimous endorsement of the Princeton Community Democratic Organization in their re-election campaign tonight.
“We have proudly delivered for Princeton through investments in critical infrastructure projects, providing our small businesses the resources they need to recover and succeed, and making NJ more affordable and safe for families,” Senator Zwicker and Assemblyman Freiman said. “Thank you to President Nick DiDomizio, Princeton Community Democratic Organization members, and all of the Princeton Democrats who have supported us cycle after cycle as we have made history here in the 16th District. There is so much more to be done and we will continue to do the work together when re-elected this fall.”
Since taking office, Zwicker and Freiman have fought for Princeton in the State Senate and State Assembly by passing legislation that:
- Provided the largest property tax relief in New Jersey history to homeowners and renters through the ANCHOR program – amounting to over $2 billion in property tax relief
- Made it easier for small businesses and restaurants to recover by providing tax breaks to help them adapt to a post-pandemic economy
Zwicker and Freiman also fought for a budget last year that included $1.3 million to expand access to transit, and funded improvements to Battlefield State Park.
Zwicker and Freiman represent the 16th Legislative District, which includes Princeton (Mercer County), South Brunswick (Middlesex County), Rocky Hill, Montgomery, Millstone, Hillsborough (Somerset County), Branchburg, Raritan Township, Readington Township, Flemington, High Bridge, Lebanon Borough, Clinton Town, and Clinton Township (Hunterdon County).
